It’s that time of year again… spring cleaning!

This includes our body, the real house we live in. Detox can help reset our system and get rid of those toxins that build up to form symptom complaints and disease.  We are constantly exposed to toxins, and we need to use ways to not only avoid them, but also eliminate them from our body to prevent the accumulation that can turn into problems we will complain about.

Here are some ways to get your detox started:

●    Hydrate your body well (use clean, filtered water)
●    Eat very light: no processed food, low or no animal products, lots of veggies
●    Use juicing as part of rejuvenation of the body (see our green juice recipe)
●    Get moving! Move your body to move your main garbage collectors: your lymphatic system
●    Use saunas- through sweating we by-pass the main elimination channels. We prefer infra red saunas for deeper impact
●    Treat yourself with some body work – reflexology, acupuncture, yoga, massage, lymphatic massage etc.

And remember the MOST important thing is to FOCUS ON EATING REAL FOOD!  Foods with real ingredients, without chemical fillers and additives.  Food that your body can digest properly and process the nutrients from.  Here are a couple of our favourite whole food recipes for you to try 🙂
